Conditions of Publication

Submission Policy

Submission of a manuscript implies that the manuscript is not published, or submitted elsewhere, except in abstract form. The corresponding author must ensure that all authors approve the manuscript before its submission. The journal does not permit publication of manuscript that has been published in full in Proceedings.

Publication Ethics

Authors submitting their works to the journal for publication as original articles, notes or reviews attest that the submitted works represent their contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works. The authors acknowledge that they have disclosed all and any actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with it.

Indemnity for Liability

Contributions are accepted for publication on the condition that they do not infringe the copyright or any other rights of any third parties and that the work does not contain any obscene, offensive, defamatory, or racially prejudiced material and will not expose the publisher to any civil or criminal proceedings. Authors agree to indemnify the editors and publisher for any liability whatsoever incurred as a result of publishing their contribution(s).

Copyright Policy

Copyright in the manuscript and published article is held by the author(s).  Authors are responsible for obtaining permission from copyright holders for reproducing any third party material in their articles (including illustrations, tables, or figures).

Choice of Law and Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand, and each contributor submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

Publication

The journal is an open access-based publication. Authors can download free materials (in PDF form) from the ASEAN Journal of Legal Studies’s website.
