Inspired by the theory of self-efficacy, research on entrepreneurial self-efficacy has rapidly developed in recent years, showing a strong research momentum. This article first explores its theoretical origins, definitions, and connotations, then systematically reviews the impact of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions and performance, as well as its measurement dimensions and influencing factors. Based on this, the theoretical gaps and areas that have not been fully addressed in previous research were also identified. The conclusion of the article points out several key areas for future research, including the issue of moderation of entrepreneurial self-efficacy, the unification and comparison of the measurement dimensions, and new influencing factors such as time, the psychological and physical conditions of entrepreneurs, government policies, and especially the impact and mechanisms of technology and digitization.
Nan Liu Copyright (c) 2023 Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/266480 Wed, 20 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 THE INFLUENCE OF WORK PRESSURE ON WORK-FAMILY CONFLICT AMONG YOUNG UNIVERSITY TEACHERS https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/250775
In this paper, a theoretical model of the effects of work stress on the work-family conflict of young college teachers was constructed by using emotional exhaustion as a mediator and organizational support as a moderator. The results show that the dimensions of work stress have significant positive effects on work-family conflict, and emotional exhaustion plays a partially mediating role. Moreover, perceived organizational support significantly moderates the effects of work stress on work-family conflict among young college teachers. Starting from the individual level, the family level and the organization and management level of the young teachers in colleges and universities, this research actively explores ways to relieve the work pressure of the young teachers in colleges and universities so as to avoid emotional exhaustion as much as possible. At the same time, this paper puts forward some pertinent countermeasures and suggestions to harmonize and balance the relationship between work and family and provides some strategies for optimizing the organization and management of colleges and universities.
Yuan Cheng Copyright (c) 2023 Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/250775 Wed, 20 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 THE CORRELATION BETWEEN CHINA’S FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKET AND STOCK MARKET―AN EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS BASED ON VAR AND MS-VAR MODEL https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/248489
The relationship between foreign exchange markets and stock markets is an important topic in macroeconomic research all over the world, especially in western academic circles. However, due to the late start of the marketization of the RMB exchange rate and the development of the stock market compared with western countries, there is still a relative lack of research on the relationship between them in Chinese academic circles. However, with the steady progress of China’s financial market reform and the increasing economic openness, the systematic and comprehensive study of the relationship between China’s foreign exchange market and stock market has become one of the most important topics for today’s researchers. By selecting the monthly data from July 2005 to December 2020 as the research sample, the exchange rate return rate and the stock index return rate were used to measure the foreign exchange market and the stock market, and the VAR model and MS-VAR model were used for empirical research. Subsequently, the following research conclusions were drawn: 1) The VAR model was used for analysis, and it was found that the fluctuation of the foreign exchange market affects the stock market, but the fluctuation of the stock market does not affect the foreign exchange market. 2) The MS-VAR model was used for analysis, and it was found that after identifying the different regional systems, when the economic environment is good, the stock market and the foreign exchange market have a strong correlation, but when the economy is continually depressed, the correlation between the two is weak. 3) From the perspective of the different regional systems, the conversion frequency among the various systems is low, but there is still the phenomenon of conversion between the different regional systems, especially during a state of economic downturn, when the conversion between different regional systems is more frequent.
Zhaohui Yang, Guihua Lu, Yun Gu Copyright (c) 2023 Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/248489 Wed, 20 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 THE STUDY OF CHINESE BUDDHISM’S FUNDAMENTAL DOCTRINE:THE INHERITANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF MADHYAMAKĀ https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/256857
Chinese Mahayana Buddhism is based on the theory of The Middle Concept, which was originated by Nāgārjuna Bodhisattva, who is highly esteemed within Mahayana Buddhism in China. Both the Han-dominated Exoteric Buddhism and the Tibetan-dominated Tibetan Buddhism are based on Nāgārjuna Bodhisattva’s Madhyamakā thought. Therefore, Nāgārjuna Bodhisattva is known as the “the Ancestor of the Eight Buddhist Schools” in Chinese Buddhism, and the Chinese Buddhist community regards him as “Nāgārjuna Bodhisattva” or “Arya-nāgārjuna”, which shows his important position in the hearts of Buddhists. Nāgārjuna Bodhisattva’s Madhyamakā thought integrates the doctrines of the Prajnaparamita Sutra and also led to the creation of the Madhyamakā School. Among them, the ideology that “all is empty”, which is the concept that all existence is a construction of name and speech as opposed to the ideology of a corresponding self, is not only regarded as the theoretical basis of Mahayana Buddhism in China but also influenced the development of all schools of Buddhism in later generations and provided its own contribution to the history of human thought. As a result, Chinese Buddhism formed a system of belief that differs from Indian Buddhism based on Madhyamakā Thought, which cannot be separated from the inheritance of the Madhyamakā School. On the basis of historical and documentary materials, this paper clearly explains the inheritance of the Madhyamakā School in Chinese Buddhism, in order to allow readers to understand the legacy and development of the Madhyamakā School.
Minxin Li, Phramaha Anon Ānando, Digong Zuo Copyright (c) 2023 Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/256857 Wed, 20 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAITS, ORGANIZATIONAL RESILIENCE, AND GROWTH OF START-UPS IN CHINA https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/265645
In this study, the effects of entrepreneurial traits and organizational resilience on the growth of new ventures are examined and a model of the relationship between entrepreneurial traits, organizational resilience, and the growth of new ventures was constructed. The relationship between e-commerce enterprises’ social responsibility and consumers’ purchase intention is an issue worth focusing on. However, at present, the research on CSR in the context of e-commerce is incomplete, especially from the perspective of the consumers.

Based on the review and summary of the relevant literature at home and abroad, in this paper, a theoretical research model of the internal mechanism of e-commerce corporate social responsibility on consumers’ purchase intention based on the intermediary role of motivational attribution was constructed. In this empirical study, the sample data were collected through a questionnaire survey, and then the structural equation modeling and other data were analyzed. The following conclusions were drawn: First, e-commerce CSR has a positive impact on consumers’ purchase intention. Second, motivational attribution plays a partially mediating role in the relationship between e-commerce CSR and consumers’ purchase intention. Specifically, when consumers attribute the motivation of e-commerce enterprises’ CSR performance to social benefits rather than their own interests, e-commerce enterprises’ CSR has an indirect positive impact on consumers’ purchase intention through motivational attribution. This study enriches the research on the corporate social responsibility impact mechanism of the related theory and extends the boundary of the e-commerce situation with regard to consumer psychology and behavior research. This can facilitate the development of e-commerce enterprise social responsibility strategies to provide theoretical guidance, on the one hand, to promote e-commerce enterprises to actively fulfill the social responsibility and promote their active response to the consumers, while on the other hand, promoting the sustainable development of enterprises and society in the e-commerce environment.
Haiyang Jiang, Yue He Copyright (c) 2023 Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/249045 Wed, 20 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CORPORATE CHARITABLE BEHAVIOR AND CONSUMER VALUE CO—CREATION WILLINGNESS USING THE STRUCTURAL EQUATION METHOD https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/253227
In an increasingly competitive market environment, consumers are paying more attention to their experience and participation. At present, the managers of scientific research institutions and enterprises have not yet gained an understanding of the intermediary factors that affect the innovative behavior of scientific and technological talents and still lack a clear comprehension of the functional relationship path by which these antecedents, such as the willingness and ability to innovate, affect the innovative behavior of scientific and technological talents. This paper therefore discusses the influence of individual innovation willingness and the innovation behavior of scientific and technological talents. At the same time, combined with rational behavior theory, this paper applies innovation ability as an intermediary variable and discusses the influence of innovation ability on the innovation behavior of scientific and technological talents. In addition, the scientific and technological talents were selected as the research object, a model of the innovative willingness and innovative behavior of scientific and technological talents mediated by innovative ability was constructed, and the influence of their innovative willingness and innovative behavior and its influencing mechanism were discussed. It was found that the innovation willingness of scientific and technological talents has a significant positive impact on innovation behavior, and also indirectly affects innovation behavior through the intermediary role of innovation ability. According to the survey results, at present, China emphasizes scientific and technological innovation, and the innovative behavior of scientific and technological talents is closely related to the development of market players. Consequently, both the government and enterprises must attach importance to enhancing the innovative willingness and strengthening the innovative ability of scientific and technological talents.
Quan Gu Copyright (c) 2023 Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/251125 Wed, 20 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE WORD “CU” IN MODERN CHINESE BASED ON THE QUALIA STRUCTURE THEORY https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/CJSSM/article/view/263260
This paper takes the word “CU (粗)” as the research object, extracts sufficient corpus from the CCL corpus of Peking University, analyzes its sememe distribution in the real corpus and the prominent qualia roles of the corpus, and then according to the frequency of use, the semantic items of the word are reclassified and described.
