The study employs a qualitative approach using a deductive method based on textual analysis of HAMKA’s work, supported by relevant primary and secondary sources as well as classical and contemporary scholarly perspectives to strengthen the findings.

The results indicate that the concept of Talaqqi refers to the direct reception of theological knowledge from divine revelation (the Qur’an and Hadis), which must be understood with authenticity, sincerity, and without deviation. Meanwhile, Istidlal involves the rational process of understanding the signs of God’s greatness through cosmological, historical, and logical dimensions. Hamka emphasizes that the integration of these two approaches plays a vital role in strengthening faith and clarifying the understanding of divinity. Furthermore, he highlights the roles of natural beauty, intellectual excellence, and human fitrah (innate disposition) in recognizing God, while underscoring the importance of tasawwuf (spiritual purification) as a means of refining the soul. The application of Talaqqi and Istidlal in the formation of Akidah demonstrates a balance between revelation and reason, affirming Islam as areligion that harmonizes textual tradition and intellectual rationality.
2026-06-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Ismaie Katihhttps://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/NUR_YIU/article/view/283091Study the Waqf land Management of Mosques in Bangkok and Surrounding Areas2025-11-03T13:10:44+07:00Pramote Meesuwanpramote1007@gmail.comAbdulroning Suetairpramote1007@gmail.com
This research aims to develop a management model of waqf land of mosques in Bangkok and its vicinity by conducting research by studying related research. In the field, the researcher went to collect data by interviewing participants of religious leaders or imams as managers of waqf land of mosques in Bangkok and its vicinity. The researcher conducted in-depth interviews with religious leaders of each mosque, experts, and Islamic jurists. The researcher selected 30 mosques with good personnel and management committees, systematic work, and clear plans. In addition, this research used the focus group discussion format to conduct research on the development of waqf land management models of mosques in Bangkok and its vicinity. The research results found that the development of waqf land of mosques is suitable for real estate development. The model to be used with waqf land requires the rental method, using the leasehold right as collateral instead of waqf land. This method allows the mosque to receive long-term income allocation and not have to bear risks. The mosques that are ready for development, with standard land size and shape, were selected. The most appropriate development method is land leasing, where developers lease land to build real estate for rent. By collecting rent at a price that the tenants can accept, it results in orderliness in living in the mosque's waqf land.
2026-06-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Pramote Meesuwan; Abdulroning Suetairhttps://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/NUR_YIU/article/view/279068 Enhancing English Vocabulary Acquisition Through Culturally Relevant Picture Vocabulary Charts for Grade 3 Students in Narathiwat, Thailand2025-09-18T15:58:07+07:00Bilkis Akhter mahsoomsateemae@ftu.ac.thMuhammad Assomadeemahsoomsateemae@ftu.ac.thMuhammadsyarif Hayisama-aemahsoomsateemae@ftu.ac.thHartinee Chemingmahsoomsateemae@ftu.ac.thMahsoom Sateemaemahsoomsateemae@ftu.ac.th
This study examined the effectiveness of culturally relevant vocabulary picture charts in improving English vocabulary retention among Grade 3 students in Narathiwat, Thailand. A quasi-experimental one-group pre-test–post-test design was employed with nine students who demonstrated low initial vocabulary performance. Quantitative data were collected through a researcher-developed vocabulary test administered before and after the intervention, and the results were analyzed using paired-samples t-tests. The findings indicated a statistically significant improvement in students’ vocabulary retention, with post-test scores significantly higher than pre-test scores (p < .001), suggesting that the vocabulary picture charts had a positive effect on students’ learning outcomes. In addition, a student satisfaction questionnaire was used to examine learners’ perceptions of the instructional materials. The results showed high levels of satisfaction, particularly regarding the cultural relevance, visual clarity, and enjoyment of the learning activities. These findings suggest that integrating culturally familiar images into vocabulary instruction can support young learners’ memory and engagement in English learning. The study provides empirical support for the use of culturally responsive visual materials in primary-level English language classrooms
2026-06-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Bilkis Akhter ; Muhammad Assomadee, Muhammadsyarif Hayisama-ae, Hartinee Cheming, Mahsoom Sateemaehttps://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/NUR_YIU/article/view/280559Development and evaluation of a pilot integrated online Zakat system platform by the Economics Alumni Association, Fatoni University: A case study of 3 Zakat organizations in Yala Province2026-01-08T15:25:19+07:00Ninadeeyah Ayaeninadiyah.econ@gmail.comHannan KalongHannan@ftu.ac.th
Zakat management in Thailand continues to face challenges in efficiency, transparency, and information accessibility. This study aims to develop and evaluate a prototype of a comprehensive online zakat platform to improve management effectiveness and enable future nationwide scalability. The research employs the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology, consisting of six stages: problem identification, objective definition, system design and development as a web application with donation-based crowdfunding, demonstration, evaluation, and dissemination. The proposed innovation integrates a zakat calculation system based on international standards, a QR code payment system, and a targeted zakat recipient database (ZRMAP) featuring data visualization. A pilot implementation was conducted in collaboration with three foundations in Yala Province. Data were collected through interviews, behavioral observations, and reflective records from zakat payers, recipients, and participating organizations. Results indicate that the platform successfully mobilized 201,440.89 THB from 160 donors and distributed zakat to 231 beneficiaries. Users reported improved convenience and ease of use, particularly in zakat calculation and online welfare applications. Suggestions for improvement included enhancing the user interface by consolidating information into a single page and adding English language support. The study concludes that the platform has strong potential to enhance transparency through open data, reduce redundancy in zakat distribution, and promote long-term self-reliance among zakat recipients.
2026-06-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 ืNinadeeyah Ayae; ฮันนาน กาหลงhttps://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/NUR_YIU/article/view/285844The Development of Academic Achievement through Cooperative Learning TGT Technique Combined with Board Games on the Genetic Topic for Grade 9 Students2026-02-06T10:01:34+07:00Ibrahim Dohengroswanna.s@yru.ac.thFakhriyah Mada-ohroswanna.s@yru.ac.thSurida Yaparoswanna.s@yru.ac.thPhanudet Cheda-ohroswanna.s@yru.ac.thRoswanna Safkolamroswanna.s@yru.ac.th
The objectives of this research were 1) to compare students’ learning achievement before and after using the cooperative learning TGT technique combined with board games on the genetics topic, and 2) to examine students’ satisfaction with the cooperative learning TGT technique combined with board games on the genetics topic. Participants were 107 students: 17 Thai students from Fatoni University and Yala Rajabhat University in Thailand's Deep South, and 90 Malaysian students from UMK. Using a qualitative design, pre- and post-camp open-ended interviews explored participants' concerns, hopes, and reflections, while observations recorded their engagement during presentations and informal conversations, their willingness to communicate in English, and their ability to navigate cultural differences. The findings revealed a marked reduction in speaking anxiety and increased use of newly learned vocabulary during hands-on activities such as "Globe-Trotting" and the "Treasure Hunt." Participants reported growing confidence and improved communication skills, alongside greater intercultural awareness in interactions with peers from a different national background. The study contributes qualitative evidence that even a brief, cross-border ASEAN immersion experience can support both linguistic and intercultural development. It recommends that future programmes incorporate native speakers for authentic exposure and expand real-world activities, directly addressing the hesitancy and pronunciation concerns participants voiced before the camp.
2026-06-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Hakim Sudinpreeda; Sorat Abdulsata, Maplee Maekong, Aishah Samae, Fadel Samae
