It has specific characteristics and transferring methods which would be different from knowledge transfer of large organisations or inter-organisation knowledge transfer.&nbsp; Indigenous knowledge transfer comprises four processes: knowledge transmission, knowledge acquisition, knowledge interpretation and knowledge screening. Each process has particular activities which are different and appropriate with community environment, and focused on knowledge transfer from generation to generation. Currently, new generation has life styles which are not related to local life styles. As a result, indigenous knowledge transfer to a young generation has to be considered appropriate activities and tools for them. Web 2.0 technology is one of appropriate technology for indigenous knowledge transfer. It would support all knowledge transfer processes and a young generation is familiar with the technology and services.</span></p> ER -
