The data collection tools used in this study were 1) a scientific inquiry skills assessment 2) a checklist for observing inquiring behaviors 3) a questionnaire on attitudes toward scientific inquiry, and 4) an evaluation form of learning outcomes based on students’ work. The study compared the levels of scientific inquiry skills between the experimental group, which learning activities on virtual science simulations with collaborative online platform (n=25), and the control group, which learning activities based on virtual science simulations (n=25). The results of the study found that 1) a learning management system using virtual science simulations on a collaborative online platform to develop scientific inquiry competency, consisting of 6 steps: 1) Concrete experience 2) Simulation briefing 3) Reflective observation & thinking 4) Conceptualization 5) Experimenting and 6) Elaboration. During a period of nine weeks, eighteen phases of data collecting were employed. 2) The results of using the model found that the experimental group had a greater level of scientific inquiry skills than the control group, with a statistical significance of.05. The data analysis was conducted using statistical techniques, including the T-test for independent samples to compare the groups' levels of scientific inquiry skills, and the T-test for dependent samples to compare the pre and post learning levels of scientific inquiry skills within the experimental group.
2024-06-08T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 มหาวิทยาลัยสุโขทัยธรรมาธิราช https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/ectstou/article/view/268467 Developing of an Online Microlearning Training System to Enhance the Basic Computer Knowledge of Teachers at Mater Dei Institute 2023-07-07T19:47:20+07:00 Thanapong Kunchaikaseam thanapong.ku@gmail.com Boonrat Plangsorn boonrat.p@ku.th Nattaphon Rampai fedunpra@ku.ac.th
The objectives of this research were 1) to develop an online microlearning training system for basic computer knowledge, 2) to compare basic computer knowledge before and after using the microlearning online training system through the comparison between before and after using online microlearning training system. The sampling group consisted of 42 teachers from Mater Dei institute using volunteer sampling: They self-registered via an internet form. The research instruments were a Basic computer skills assessment questionnaire and post-learning assessment test. The statistic used in this study were percentages, means, standard deviations, t-test dependent, and hypothesis testing between the two related sample groups.

The study revealed that 1) the online microlearning training system for fundamental computer knowledge was developed at a high level that the score was 4.60 from expert evaluations. It indicates that the training method and media were of excellent quality and it could be used. However, improved parts can lead to higher quality. As a result, the training system has been designed to a high standard and is suitable for conducting research. 2) the test showed significant improvement in learning outcomes after training, with pre-training scores (M = 7.66, SD = 1.65) increasing to post-training scores (M = 11.74, SD = 1.38), a significance difference at the .01 level.
2024-06-08T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 มหาวิทยาลัยสุโขทัยธรรมาธิราช https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/ectstou/article/view/268423 Developing Activity Handbook for Chinese Language Camp to Promote Tourism in Chachoengsao Province for Junior High School Students 2023-07-19T21:39:13+07:00 Chanikan Rattanachaipaisankul chanikan.rat@rru.ac.th Xiaoxin She shexx123@hotmail.com Supaphada Indrabongkot linxiaoyu_cn@hotmail.com
The purposes of this research were 1) to create a Chinese camp activities handbook to promote tourism in Chachoengsao province for students in secondary school at Watsumpathawana School (Bangkaew Phutthaiakan) with an effective criterion of 70/70. 2) to compare the learning achievement of Chinese tourism vocabularies of secondary students at Watsumpathawana School (Bangkaew Phutthaiakan) before and after learning by using the Chinese language camp activity handbook to promote tourism in Chachoengsao province.
