@article{Rittibul_2020, title={A STUDY OF THE CULTURAL PRODUCTS TO BE CREATIVE DESIGN PERFORMANCE}, volume={24}, url={https://so01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jfofa/article/view/240138}, abstractNote={<p>The creative research entitled “A Study of the Cultural Products to Be Creative Design Performance” aims to 1) Study the origins of cultural identity and local cultural products of Pathum Thani Province 2) Define format and performance creation elements from interpretations of the origins, cultural identity, process, cultural product format, and local cultural flow in Pathum Thani Province and 3) Search for the efficiency of performance creation, in terms of creativity and suitability based on the satisfaction of the experts  who watched the performance before distributing to the public. This research was conducted by examining books, academic documents, textbooks, journals, and related studies, along with going on a field trip to collect data, doing interviews and focus group discussions. Accordingly, all the data were analyzed on order to create and design the dance postures. The design then was qualitatively recorded and presented to the experts for evaluating and confirming the recorded qualitative data.  For the quantitative data analysis, the data collected from the assessment form were analyzed using basic statistics including mean and standard deviation. The data were also presented by analytical description and performance. The results of this research are as follows:</p> <p>            Pathum Thani is one of the provinces considered as a mixed culture society combing various nationalities and this make it becomes a charm of ancient community’s way. According to the history, the Mon people migrated to rely on the prestige of the Thai King and they bring their arts and cultures as well as their way of life to Thai society. These arts, cultures, and ways of life have been blended and integrated with local Thai wisdom and cultures from the past to the present. Along with the biodiversity in Thailand and local Thai wisdom, the products were developed with precious value which is called “Cultural Products”. These cultural products include 1. Mon breast cloth 2. Benjasiri pottery 3. Basketwork 4. Hair bun cover accessories 5. Products from Rice Paper Straw. With reference to the inspiration, invention process, products, value, and cultural flow, in a form of performance that is a cultural media, along with guidelines for doing choreography according to concept and theory of performance invention and creation, bringing all to design creative process which was divided into 7 procedures. 1) Performance concept creation 2) Melody and performance music creation 3) Performer selection 4) Dance posture design 5) Costume design and invention 6) Presenting to the experts for evaluation of the performance in quality and suitability 7) Performance distribution to the public. According to the six experts, the performance creation efficiency of “Nawattasil Thin Pathum Thani” is considered efficient. In terms of the creativity, the performance “Nawattasil Thin Pathum Thani” is rated at the highest level with the mean of 4.60 and standard deviation at 0.52.
