The conventional and common forms of technological media which are widely used in creating dance include Mapping and Projection. Each technical form has its own uniqueness and can be applied based on how a content creator would like to use such technologies in a performance. The applications of technological media in dancing arts can be done in various forms such as using technology to support the compositions of performance, using technology that interacts with the movements of actors, using virtual reality technology, or using technology as communication devices. Regarding problems of using technological media in creating dancing arts, they might be about high production cost, time-consuming for preparation and acting rehearsals, the lack of availability of tools to support technologies that artists utilize, the limitation of space, and the risks about instability of tools, and the systems which are difficult to control. However, technological media are only one factor of many parts of the performance.
