Abstract

This research aims to study on factor levels on work environment, dejection in performance, and teacher’s quality of work life in secondary school under The Secondary Education Service Area Office 4 in order to further study on the relationship between factor on quality of work life and factors on dejection in performance, and quality of work life of teacher in secondary school under The Secondary Education Service Area Office 4 as well as to create prediction towards  teacher’s quality of work life in secondary school under The Secondary Education Service Area Office 4 based on factors on work environment and  dejection in performance  by using questionnaire created by the researcher. The sample group of this research was 322 teachers in secondary schools under The Secondary Education Service Area Office 4. The sample group was determined by using Krejcie & Morgan’s formulaic table. Statistics used in data analysis were basic statistics for calculating percentage, mean, Standard Deviation, Pearson’s Correlation, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis in order to analyze factors influencing on teacher’s quality of work life in secondary school under The Secondary Education Service Area Office 4.            
The results showed that           
1.The overall picture of factor on work environment of teacher in secondary schools under The Secondary Education Service Area Office 4 was in high level.
2. Factors on work environment and dejection in performance had relationship with teacher’s quality of work life in secondary schools under The Secondary Education Service Area Office 4 in all dimensions both in positive and negative.           
3. For factors on work environment and dejection in performance, in overall, they were be able to be used for predicting teacher’s quality of work life. It was found that there were 4 factors affecting to higher level of teacher’s quality of work life including factors on instructional management, welfare and benefits, physical characteristics of workplace, and appointment against personal success.
