PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN WATER SUPPLY MANAGEMENT OF KRUNG CHING SUBDISTRICT NOPPHITAM DISTRICT NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract

The Public participation in water supply management of Krung Ching Subdistrict Nopphitam District Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Objective was study the level of public participation in water supply management by using a questionnaire to collected data  350 samples, the statistics used for data analysis were percentage, average, standard deviation and F-test.  The results showed that the level of public participation in water supply management in Krung Ching Sub-district, Nopphitam District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, And public participation in the study of problems related to water supply management, Process of public participation in water supply management, Participation in water management planning and decisions, and Participation in the monitoring and evaluation of applications for managing water supply. overall it was at a medium level. Comparing the differences between personal factors and public participation in water supply management, it was found that gender, age, education level, marital status, occupation, income, expenses, and household numbers were not different in overall, statistically significant at 0.05.
