Abstract

The objectives of the research are aimed to 1) study the current and desirable condition affecting to academic administration of school administrators in Nakhon Nayok Primary Educational Service Area Office and 2) study the guideline for the academic administration of school administrators in Nakhon Nayok Primary Educational Service Area Office. The research sample was 306 government teachers in Nakhon Nayok Primary Educational Service Area Office by using Cluster Random Sampling. All essential data required for this research have been assisted by eight school directors who have taken this position over five years. The research instruments were questionnaires and interviews. The statistic used for data analysis includes frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, PNI modified, and analytical data analysis.

The results showed that.

1) The overview of the academic administration of school administrators has been in the high state. The desirable condition was in the most satisfying stage.

2) The Guideline for Academic Administration of School Administrator was (1) A school curriculum development which was analyzed and working parallelly and accordingly with the Basic Education Core Curriculum and School Curriculum. (2) In the term of learning process development. (3) In the term of the assessment process. (4) In the term of research for developing the quality of education system. (5) In the term of development and usage information technology (IT) for education. (6) In the term of educational supervision. And (7) In the term of development of internal quality assurance and educational standard.
