STRATEGY OF PREVENT ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES FOR LOCAL ADMINISTRATION IN PHECAHABUN PROVINCE FOR TRANSFERING FORM FINE ARTS DEPARTMENT

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study archaeological sites preservation of local administration in Phetchabun province 2) analysis of factors that influences archaeological sites preservation of local administration in Phetchabun province 3) develop a strategy for preventing archaeological sites. 

The research process consisted of 1) studying the general condition of preserving ancient sites of local administrative organizations in Phetchabun province. In-depth interviews collected data. 2) analyzed the environment influencing the preservation of archaeological sites. It is an analysis of the external environment to find opportunities and obstacles and analyzes the internal environment using McKinsey's 7S analysis framework. Ten experts and experts conducted it, explicitly selected by and 5) to confirm preserving the archaeological site's strategy. The person who directly implements the strategy was the executive of the local government organization in Phetchabun province, where the archaeological sites were located in the area. Data collection was the strategic assessment form for archaeological site preservation. The research results found that

1. Local governments have a role to play in cleaning up the surrounding archaeological site, which was operating routinely. It is not an operation of preserving ancient sites. Preservation of the old site as a temple pagoda and church There will be a temple committee to manage both the maintenance and landscape improvement: the ancient city wall and fort operated by Phetchabun Municipality.

2. The external environment analysis revealed that the external environment that was an opportunity were political and legal, economic, social, cultural, and technology. The external environment that is an obstacle is socio-cultural. Strengths of the internal environment are structure, work system, working style, and the organization's shared values. Weaknesses include structure, strategy, people, and skills.

3. Preventing archaeological sites strategy for local government organizations in Phetchabun province consists of 5 strategies: Strategy 1) Building public awareness for management and preserving ancient sites. 2) Building and developing a network of cooperation for management and preserving ancient sites. 3) Developing the potential of local government organizations in management and preserve archaeological sites. 4) Develop a historic site management system through people's participation and cooperation networks. and 5) Knowledge management in management and preserve archaeological sites sustainably
