DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRONIC COMMERCE SKILL OF SMES IN THAI CULTURAL PRODUCT IN CHIANG RAI PROVINCE TO GREATER MEKONG SUBREGION

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze problems and needs to formulate a development model as well as to study the efficiency from the development of electronic commerce skill for business to the Greater Mekong Subregion of SMEs in Thai cultural products in Chiang Rai province. The research population consisted of researchers, guest speakers, 28 SMEs, and 6 Thai cultural product groups in 12 districts in Chiang Rai province. The findings revealed that the needs and related problems of the development of electronic commerce skill of SMEs in Thai cultural products were at a high level while the model for skill development was accepted and can be used to develop the skill of the target population at a high level, higher than the pretest and the result of efficiency evaluation of the development of electronic commerce skill for business to the Greater Mekong Subregion of SMEs in Thai cultural products in Chiang Rai province was at the highest level. The most efficient aspect was the ability to promote the innovation related to electronic commerce skills, followed by the ability to practice skills for new electronic commerce systems.
