Cyberbullying Behavior Among Secondary Students in Chiang Rai Province : A Case study of Chiang Rai Municipality School 6

Abstract

The research “Cyberbullying Behavior Among Secondary Students in Chiang Rai Province : A Case study of Chiang Rai Municipality School 6” is a quantitative research. The research design is a survey research. Meanwhile, the objective of this research is to study about 5 factors including family factor, behaviors of information exposure, attitude of secondary students toward cyberbullying, cyberbullying behavior as well as behavior trend of cyberbullying. It also studies relationships of variables among attitude, behavior and behavior trend. The questionnaire is used for compiling data. The population consists of 2,012 persons. The statistical program is applied for data analysis including descriptive analysis and inferential analysis.

The findings indicate that the difference of demography and cyberbullying behavior were statistically significant different at 0.05 level. There were positive relationships between attitude of secondary students toward cyberbullying and cyberbullying behavior at the 0.01 level of significance.
