Abstract

คุณภาพเป็นสิ่งที่ทุกคนพึงปรารถนา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบในการผลิตหรือให้บริการ แต่คุณภาพที่แท้จริงดูได้จากอะไร เกณฑ์การวัดและวิธีการประเมินคุณภาพการจัดการศึกษาไทยและโลกที่เป็นอยู่ในปัจจุบันสะท้อนคุณภาพการศึกษาที่แท้จริงได้มากน้อยเพียงใด และสิ่งที่ควรดำเนินการในเรื่องนี้ต่อไปควรทำอย่างไร บทความนี้ตั้งคำถาม มากกว่าคำตอบ อย่างไรก็ตาม ผู้เขียนจะพยายามตั้งสมมติฐานและเสนอความเห็นในแต่ละประเด็นที่ตั้งคำถามให้มากที่สุด แต่หวังว่าคำถามของบทความนี้จะเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นการค้นหาคุณภาพสถาบันอุดมศึกษาของไทยที่แท้จริงต่อไป

Quality is ultimate desire of both the producers or servers and consumers. But what really measures the quality is not clear. Could criteria and evaluation methods employed at present exhibit real value of quality, both in Thailand and international. And what should we do next? This article brings forth the questions rather than the answers. However, the writer would try to point out some assumptions and opinions on each issues as possible. Moreover, it is hoped that this article could trigger the starting point to search for quality in Thai higher education institutes.
