Abstract

This article introduces some social science notions in order to present how social science theories and concepts could help us understand society validly and clearly.This article is organized into three parts. In the first part, the basic perspective of sociology or sociological imagination will be introduced. After that, the social science methodology will be discussed how it can be used as a tool to create social knowledge, which sometimes conflicts with orthodox beliefs of society. In the third part, analysis and solution of social problems from the three main sociological perspectives will be discussed.
