Abstract
Since the proclamation of Thai Civil and Commercial code Book VI, succession law may be referred by Thai lawyer that it is one of the law conserve Thai traditional laws like family law in Book V but No one can instance those traditional law. This article will explain about brief history of Thai succession law since old Thai succession law (Phra Aiyakarn Laksana Marudok) and instance legal principle in present that come from old law or be like old law and comparative to indicate similarity and difference between old law and present law for benefit for use and interpret Thai succession law in future
