Armed Forces Development Command’s Southern Flood Risk Management

Abstract

          The objectives of Armed Forces Development Command’s Southern Flood Risk Management article are to present southern flood risk management of the Armed Forces Development Command. Their managements show the methods of managing flood before it occurred, during the disaster and rehabilitation after flood. Being the main unit of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters in developing and assisting public, the Armed Forces Development has established Disaster Relief Center where it later developed to Disaster Relief Training Center, with the aims to provide training and develop disaster relief skills on international standard. It was also aimed to be the coordination unit between government agencies and general public, and integrate the coordination since preparedness, operation during disaster and rehabilitation after the disaster.
