The Royal Guidance on Education with mission of Rajabhat University Group for Higher Education Institution to Developing Local

Abstract

Rajabhat Universities, a group of higher education institutions for local development that spreads in every region of Thailand, have implemented the royal educational policy of His Majesty the King Rama X in forming the learners to have growth attitude, stability of basic life, an occupation and to be a good citizen with discipline. Accordingly, a 20-year strategy of Rajabhat University for community development (2017 - 2036) has been established as a common framework for Rajabhat Universities to improve the quality of education and to develop communities in their locality. They also create a new methodology of learning management beyond classroom to incubate the 21^st century skills for their students, aiming at building thinkers, communicators, collaborators, and innovators. This method can be considered as a community-based multidisciplinary active learning which give students the skills they need to cope with more complex life problems or challenges.
