DEVELOPMENT OF SYSTEM LINKING ROUTES BETWEEN PHIMAI HISTORICAL PARK TO SERVICE SYSTEM IN PHIMAI DISTRICT, NAKHON RATCHASIMA PROVINCE WITH GOOGLE MAPS API

Abstract

     Phimai Historical Park is a significant tourist destination in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, attracting a large number of tourists interested in cultural tourism. Most tourists visit the park on a round trip basis because they are only familiar with Phimai Historical Park and lack awareness of other tourist attractions. The objective of this study is to develop system linking routes between Phimai Historical Park and service system in Phimai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province with Google Maps API. This system includes tourist attractions, hotels and accommodations, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, and OTOP products. The Direction Services and Distance Matrix Service of Google Maps API are utilized to search for routes, time, and distance, along with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP for website development. The study found that users can easily and quickly search for information on tourist attractions and service systems in the area. Moreover, the system efficiently displays routes, time, and distance from Phimai Historical Park to the selected service systems. The evaluation of website usability indicates a high level of satisfaction, with an average score of 4.18 and a standard deviation of 0.85. This developed website is an important tool to support, promote, and attract more tourists to visit Phimai Historical Park.
