TRAIT LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS IN THE DIGITAL ERA UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINISTRATION

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the trait leadership of schooladministrators in the digital era, 2) to compare the opinions of teachers on the trait leadership of school administrators in the digital era classified by gender, education level, position, age, work experience, and school size, and 3) to study guidelines for developments of the trait leadership of school administrators in the digital era. The
population and sample consisted of 5 administrators school, and 375 teachers. The research instruments were an interview form and a questionnaire with a content validity, IOC values, between 0.80–1.00. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and content analysis.
The results of the research were as follows: 1) the trait leadership of school administrators in the digital era was at a high level in overall, and particular aspects, 2) the opinions of teachers classified by gender, education level, position, age, work experience, and school size were not different in overall, and 3) guidelines for developments of the trait leadership of school administrators in the digital era : School administrators should promote school culture and processes, define guidelines in accordance with the school vision and strategic plan, encourage student participation in learning management, enhance school branding through various public relations, and support teachers in their self-development continuously.
