การพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุไทยกับการเป็นประชาคมอาเซียน

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุไทยกับการก้าวสู่ประชาคมอาเซียน สารสนเทศและข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการศึกษาได้รับมาจากเอกสารต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับผู้สูงอายุ จำนวน 12 รายการ นอกจากนี้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหาถูกนำมาใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สังคมไทยจะเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุ อย่างสมบูรณ์ใน ปี พ.ศ. 2567 ภายใต้ข้อจำกัดและความไม่พร้อมเกี่ยวกับสวัสดิการสังคมของรัฐ ท้องถิ่น และชุมชนมีบทบาทสำคัญที่จะเติมเต็มสิ่งที่ขาดเพื่อให้กระบวนการเหล่านี้เป็นไปได้อย่างเหมาะสมโดยการ ใช้ความหลากหลายของทุนสังคมเป็นตัวช่วย เช่น นโยบายในหลาย ๆ ด้านการวางแผนอย่างต่อเนื่องในขณะเดียวกันสังคมผู้สูงอายุก็มีความพร้อมเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียน
