มาตรการทางกฎหมายในการลดการกระทำความผิดซ้ำทางเพศในสหรัฐอเมริกา

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาถึงมาตรการทางกฎหมายในการลดการกระทำความผิดซ้ำทางเพศในสหรัฐอเมริกา ซึ่งพบว่าในสหรัฐอเมริกามีมาตรการที่น่าสนใจหลายมาตรการ คือ การฉีดยาลดฮอร์โมนเพศ การตัดอัณฑะ โปรแกรมบำบัดผู้กระทำความผิดทางเพศ การขึ้นทะเบียนผู้กระทำความผิดทางเพศ และการกำหนดพื้นที่ปลอดภัยสำหรับเด็ก เป็นที่น่าสังเกตว่ามาตรการทางกฎหมายเหล่านี้มีการกระทบต่อหลักสิทธิมนุษยชนและศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นมนุษย์ แต่สหรัฐอเมริกาก็ยังมีการใช้มาตรการเหล่านี้อยู่ น่าจะเป็นเพราะว่าสหรัฐอเมริกาให้ความสำคัญกับการปกป้องคุ้มครองผลประโยชน์ของคนในสังคมมากกว่าจะคำนึงถึงสิทธิผู้กระทำความผิดที่ออกมาจากเรือนจำนั่นเอง
