Viewpoints of Faculties and The Satisfaction of Undergraduate Students to ward Student Development Division in The College of Dramatic Arts

The purposes of this research were to study : (1) viewpoints of faculties toward Student Development Division in The College of Dramatic Arts, (2) levels of satisfaction of undergraduate students toward Student Development Division in The College of Dramatic Arts, (3) compare the levels of satisfaction of undergraduate students toward Student Development Division in The College of Dramatic Arts which classified by genderand year of study, (4) opinions and recommendations of undergraduate students toward Student Development Division in The College of Dramatic Arts.The Research Methodology of this research was Qualitative Research and Quantitative Research in data collection. The population and samples were the heads of faculties in Student Development Division in The College of Dramatic Arts included :Student UnionSection, Guidance and ScholarshipSection, Educational Services Section, Thai Reserve Officer Training Corps Student Section, Advisor Section and the first to fifth year undergraduate students in the second semester of the 2015 academic year were 108 people.
The findings of the research were as follows : (1) viewpoints of faculties toward Student Development Division consisted of 5 sections : Student UnionSection, Guidance and ScholarshipSection, Educational Services Section, Thai Reserve Officer Training Corps Student Section and Advisor Section were found that Student UnionSection, Guidance and ScholarshipSection and Advisor Section in viewpoints of faculties were similar. The roles and participations of planning and notification on appointment of working were satisfied at low level. In addition, working was unorganized, unclear and uncoordinated. In Educational Services Section, the roles and working were unclear because the working was overlapped the Arts and Cultural Department and most of roles and working were the Arts and Cultural Department and uncoordinated between the Arts and Cultural Department and Educational Services Section. In Thai Reserve Officer Training Corps Student Section, having roles, planning, announcing the appointment of undergraduate student, reporting to The College of Dramatic Arts, regulation, monitoring and administer for Thai Reserve Officer Training Corps Students in every area. (2) levels of satisfaction of undergraduate students toward Student Development Division in The College of Dramatic Arts consisted of 5 sections : Student UnionSection, Guidance and ScholarshipSection, Educational Services Section, Thai Reserve Officer Training Corps Student Section and Advisor Section were satisfied as overall at moderate level. When considering that Thai Reserve Officer Training Corps Student Section was satisfied at low level. (3) the findings of comparing levels of satisfaction of undergraduate students toward Student Development Division in The College of Dramatic Arts at a different gender were statistically significant difference at 0.05 level which agree with the research hypotheses. In a different year’s undergraduate studentswere no different satisfied and inconsistent with the research hypotheses. (4) opinions and recommendations of undergraduate students toward Student Development Division in The College of Dramatic Arts consisted of 5 sections: Student UnionSection, Guidance and ScholarshipSection, Educational Services Section, Thai Reserve Officer Training Corps Student Section and Advisor Section found that Student UnionSection should promote and support the Student Union’s activities and other activities which were at the highest level (27.27%) and followed by having a few of the participants and roles for undergraduate student (24.68%). In Guidance and ScholarshipSection, having few of the service minds and information of this section which were at the highest level (25.86%) and followed by should pay attention for student (20.69%). In Educational Services Section, should inform the planning, project or appointment of working was at the highest level (40.38%) and followed by having many performances which no time to study (34.62%). In Thai Reserve Officer Training Corps Student Section, having many performances and activities which no time to study was at the highest level (8.62%) and followed by should support and administer, inform the planning, project or appointment of working (5.17%). In Advisor Section, having a little time to meeting between undergraduate students and faculties was at the highest level (30.00%) and followed by having a little time to inform the planning, project or appointment of working and promoting information for undergraduate students (24.00%).
