The author looks at tradition from a developmental perspective, viewing the past and the present as a whole, rather than as two opposites. The article mainly uses documentary and comparative methods to conduct research, and discusses the current changes in the audience of Qin song, the limitations of Qin song's creative form and singing method, the feasibility of Qin song absorbing Western music experience, and the necessity of integrating into contemporary aesthetics. The author believes that only by fully taking into account the aesthetic needs and cultural climate of contemporary society, and realizing the positive significance of both in developing the tradition of Qin song, can Qin song get out of the current predicament it faces. The results of this study will help readers re-examine the contemporary revival and development of traditional Chinese Qin song from a more comprehensive perspective.
