Elderly School for the Community Strengthening

Abstract

Elderly school is an activity organized by all sectors in the community as a school for the elderly to support lifelong learning, physical, and mental health of the elderly to avoid depression. This academic article would like to present the benefits of the elderly school that affect community strength in 5 issues: 1) Reducing weaknesses and enhancing strengths for the elderly club.  2) Cooperation between the people's sectors and many sectors in a networked manner.  3) The use of communication as the key to networking in the community and outside the community.  4) The elderly school is the result of efforts by local authorities to develop localities. 5) Empowering elderly school by efficient leader and community network, empowering community by empowered school. 6) The elderly school encourages the elderly to be a force in community and social development. In an effort to successfully organize school activities for elderly, the elderly school needs to encourage consistent and consistent communication activities, including communication within the school, communication at the community level, and communication with external agencies. Emphasis should be placed on communication in which all parties can benefit from the school elderly both concrete benefits and abstract benefits. The benefit in enhancing the elderly to have active aging will result in the elderly being ready to benefit others and the community by bringing strength and development capacity of their home community.
