"Leisure" in the Perspective of Chinese Culture —— Leisure Psychology of Chinese People

Abstract

"Leisure" in the context of Chinese culture is a kind of wisdom, spiritual and philosophy of happiness. Chinese leisure is closely related to Confucian, Taoism, Buddhism and Zen. Confucius emphasized the relationship between people and society, family, governance and adaptation to society. Chinese leisure activities is used as a tool for self-training leading to physical perfection intelligence and virtue. Taoism emphasizes the relationship between people and nature. Not focusing on control. Let everything be natural. Buddhism emphasizes the relationship between people and mind. Faith in a charitable mind. Zen emphasizes the relationship between humans and ourselves. Emphasizing regurgitation, throwing away and releasing. Because thoughts and mind have a direct effect on human behavior. These traditional cultures have influenced and shaped the different cultural personalities, emotional stereotypes, living habits, behaviors and ways of thinking. Therefore, studying the leisure psychology of Chinese people in a specific context through cultural perspective has important academic significance for a better understanding of Chinese and Chinese culture.
