Abstract

Cross-cultural activities essentially are activities. Simply handling the cross-cultural issues can not completely guarantee the successful of an activity project. Simply discuss the cross-cultural elements without the carrier of activity practice, the discussion will easily be superficial. Therefore, through the investigation of the five major types of cultural activities carried out by Confucius Institute, through the investigation of cross-cultural and non-cross-cultural factors that affect the success or failure of the activities in the communication, preparation, implementation, and closing stages of the activity projects, the paper proposes principles and methods with realistic guiding significance in handling cross-cultural activities.
