This study examined the effectiveness of a Career self-efficacy program designed on career decision making in grade 12 students. This study’s purposes are (1) To study the effectiveness of career self-efficacy program on career decision making in grades 12 students and (2) To compare the effectiveness between career self-efficacy program and career guidance teaching on the ability of career decision making of the grade 12 students. This quasi-experimental research contains one experimental group and one control group, the experimental group is in the career self-efficacy program and the control group is not. Career self-efficacy program including two domains: (1) The Sources of Self-Efficacy from Social Cognitive Theory (Bandura, 1997) and (2) The Phychometric factors of Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale (Taylor & Betz, 1985), contained the contents of career, academic, and personal and social development counseling. The program has 10 activities, 50 minutes for each activity, took totally 8 hours and 20 minutes.
Career Decision Scale, delevoped to administrate at pretest and posttest. The results indicated significant effects on the career decision making posttest score of the experimental group which is higher than their own pretest score and the posttest score of the control group.
