Abstract
This study was conducted using a descriptive research method with the aim to study the present state, the desirable state and modified priority need index of teacher management of tutoring schools in Bangkok as perceived by 226 teachers in the tutoring schools, Bangkok. The research instrument used in this study was rating scale questionnaire development based on the theoretical framework of Castetter and Young. Data were analyzed using the computer program. Data were analyzed using Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and PNI Modified.
The results show that the desirable state of teacher management of tutoring schools in Bangkok of each aspect investigated was pursued at a highest level by sorting needs with a PNI modified index. They were 1) Compensation and Benefits 2) Appraisal 3) Planning 4) Continuity 5) Information 6) Development 7) Selection 8) Security and Bargaining 9) Induction and 10) Recruitment
