Abstract

This study aimed to compare the learning achievement in the course of international trade law before and after the application of case study. The target group consisted of 21 students who registered the course of international trade law in the first semester of academic year 2019. The research tools were the test before the application of case study and the test after the application of case study. Such tests required the students to do the write-up examination in 4 questions, each question has 25 points. The scores were recorded.                            The statistics used in analyzing the data was t-test for dependent samples. The research findings could be summarized as follows:

The researcher used the pre-test to assess the students (gif.latex?\bar{X}= 38.43, S.D. =82.76 ) After teaching by using the case study, the researcher used the post-test to assess the students (gif.latex?\bar{X}= 60.48, S.D. = 36.76) The study revealed that after using the case study, the students’ learning achievement in the course of international trade law was statistically significantly higher than the pre-test at .05 level.
