Predictive Factors of Older farmer’s Quality of Life in Off-season Longan Production, Ban Hong District, Lamphun Province

Abstract
The purposes of mixed method research were to study the quality of life among older farmers and predicting factors affecting quality of life in off-season longan production. The sample of this research was composed of 104 older farmers and 8 interested people who live in Ban Hong district, Lamphun province. Data were collected by questionnaires, non - structured interview and focus group discussion. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, regression analysis and content analysis. The results indicated that the quality of life was in a high level (mean = 3.60). Factors including age (Beta = .272, p = .009) and attitude of biological substance application (Beta = -.623, p = .000). Total variances explaine was 27.3 %. The guideline an approach in enhancing the sustainable life quality development of older farmers in leaning activities development and should provide increase other occupations support.
