Journal Title Change


Starting from Volume 30, Issue 2 (July-December 2023), the Applied Economics Journal (AEJ) will change its title to the 'Asian Journal of Applied Economics' (AJAE). This change aims to enhance its focus, making it more distinctive, and aligning with the new TCI's ISSN criteria, which seeks to elevate Thai journals to an international standard.

Applied Economics Journal is a certified quality journals in Group 1 of Quality Assessment by Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Centre. The last evaluation round was completed in May 2015 with the coverage of 5 years period (1 January 2015-31 December 2019).

- Listed in the database of the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). The ESCI is launched by Thomson Reuters
- Thai Journal Impact Factors = 0.106 (average since 2011-2013) ranked 10 out of 626 journals.
