Abstract

This research aims to study: 1) the essential needs in academic management of school administrators to promote teacher learning management in Lampang Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, and 2) the guidelines for academic management of school administrators to promote teacher learning management. The population includes 68 school administrators or incumbents in the positions of school directors and assistant school directors and 66 academic department heads. The research tools consist of a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire and group discussion recording forms. Data analysis is conducted using basic statistics, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, need index value, and content analysis. The questionnaire has a reliability coefficient of 0.884, and 0.906.

The research findings indicate that: 1) regarding the essential needs in academic management of school administrators to promote teacher learning management, the index of necessity in terms of control is ranked first, followed by leadership, organization, and planning, and 2) the guidelines for academic management of school administrators to promote teacher learning management comprise a total of 16 guidelines, consisting of 4 guidelines under Planning (P), 3 guidelines under Organizing (O), 5 guidelines under Leading (L), and 4 guidelines under Controlling (C).
