The Creation of Learning Media for Children in Picture Book, Learning About the Disadvantages of using too much Digital Media.

Abstract

The creation of learning media for Thai children and youth in Picture Books, emphasizing the disadvantages of using too much digital media. 1.To create learning media in the form of picture books for children in order to learn the disadvantages of using too much digital media. 2. In order to disseminate this learning material to relevant parties for further use. 3. To study the effects of using this kind of storytelling media to build knowledge and understanding of young children and for parents to learn and be aware of the disadvantages of children using too much digital media.

The sample group used in the research was 1. 50 children including parents with children under 12 years old. 2. A group of 50 teachers and personnel in educational institutions or agencies that educate children under 12 years of age. The research instruments were Satisfaction assessment form which were then analyzed inputting the data into tables based on 100 vales. Average of satisfaction learning media for Thai children and young children, picture books.

Research result. It was found that picture books for children for learning about the disadvantages of using too much digital media by creating creative illustration, story books. Combined with the imagination that they wanted to create with coloring techniques and using technical methods. The computer in the design of these story books use 4 color formats so that children and parents can learn and be aware of the said issue easily and happily. As for the dissemination of this learning media to all concerned, the use of 100 copies has been distributed. Divided into 2 groups. 1. 50 children including parents with children under 12 years. 2. 50 teachers and personnel in schools or agencies that educate children under 12 Year of age. The results of the satisfaction assessments in both groups are the best in creating knowledge and understanding for children and parents to learn and be aware of the disadvantages of using too much digital media and able to implement for children to use digital media correctly and appropriately. The research hopes that the opportunity to distribute this picture book to children as well as those interested can continue.
