THE STUDY OF PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT NEEDS OF SPECIAL CHILD AT SPECIAL EDUCATION CENTER, (NORTHERN, SOUTHERN AND NORTHEASTERN) TO DEVELOP THE THERAPEUTIC SCULPTURE FOR SPECIAL CHILD

Abstract
This research was survey studies of physical development of special children that affect to the sculpture work creation for treatment at Special Education Center in 3 regions of Thailand which were North, South and North-East. To study the effectiveness of sculptures for rehabilitation in children with special need in form of ability in balancing, eye-hand coordination and tactile sensory. Similarly, alternative therapies with mixed methods research with exploratory sequential design in term of practice led research and qualitative research. The population in this research were special children both boys and girls with the age range 4-12 year in Special Education Center in 3 regions of Thailand which were North, South and North-East. This research was a continuous research project for the budget year 2018. With the objective of surveying to explore problems in physical development in part of muscle and movement problems of children with special needs. Once the results have been analyzed, the sculpture works will be created. The data analyst for sample respondents 100 people from special education center in 8 provinces, which were Tak, Phitsanulok, Mahasarakham, Ubon Ratchathani, Srisaket, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang and Surat Thani.
The results of research showed the view point of experts in special education that the provinces that need the most development were Srisaket, Nakhon Si Thammarat , Surat Thani, Mahasarakham, Ubon Ratchathani, Trang, Tak and Phisanulok respectively.
