The development of the Sufficiency School to become the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center on education of Koksipittayasan School using the Participatory Action Research

Abstract

This research was the development of the Sufficiency School to become the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center on education of Koksipittayasan School using the Participatony Action Research. There were three objectives, namely 1) to study the operating conditions of the Sufficiency School of Koksipittayasan Yai School 2) to develop the Sufficiency School to become the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center on education of Koksipittayasan School using the Participatory Action Research,3) to study the success of the development of the Sufficiency School to become the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center on education of Koksipittayasan School using the Participatory Action Research. The results showed that 1) The operating conditions of the Sufficiency School of Koksipittayasan School was at a high level in overall. 2) The development of the Sufficiency School to become the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center on education of Koksipittayasan School using the Participatory Action Research through a 2-cycle, 10-step, it was found that the school had implemented to develop in all 3 areas according to the framework of the evaluation of the Sufficiency Economy Leaming Center on education consisting of 1) Personnel, there were 4 components: administrators, teachers, students, and school committees. Researchers and co-researchers set goals or expected conditions more than of 4.00 or "high". Result was expectedly at the highest level of "4.90", 2) Physical environment management, there were 2 components which were building and the environment, and learning resources/learning bases or learning activities to enhance the habit of living sufficiently,was developed by the building development project. Researchers and co-researchers set. goals or expected conditions more than of 4.00 or "high". Result was expectedly at the highest level of "4.80" and 3) Relationships with external agencies, they consisted of 2 components: relationship with other schools in expanding the driving results, and relationships with affiliated agencies and/or external agencies (public, private, and community). Researchers and co-researchers set goals or expected conditions more than of 4:00 or "high". The result was expectedly the highest level of "4.70". 3) The Sufficiency Economy Learning Center on education found that the opinion was at a highest level in overall. And the evaluation of satisfactions to the successful condition of the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center on education was at a highest level. 4) Changes caused by the development appear empirical data as follows: 4.1) in term of Personnel. 4.1.1 Educational administrators have knowledge and apply the philosophy of sufficiency economy to become a quality school. 4.1.2 All teachers can design teaching and learning and integrate learning process with the philosophy of sufficiency economy and the master teacher can be a lecturer. 4.1.3 Students have more sufficient characteristics. Leading students are more courageous to express their Sufficient characters and able to present works both inside and outside the school. 4.1.4 The Board of school recognizes and supports activities of the school's philosophy of sufficiency economy center. 4.2 In terms of physical environment management. Six laboratories and nine learning bases have been improved to be ready for teaching and learning. 4.3 In terms of relations with external agencies. The school has a network of educational institutions of 19 internal agencies, external agencies and other organizations, has been mentors to develop Baan Mai Na Paeng School, Baan Jod Yai School, which passed evaluation to become a sufficient school. 4.4 Koksipittayasan School has been declared a learning center of the Philosophy of Sufficient Economy in education from the Ministry of Education.
