Found in 2018, CMAP aims to provide a forum for research in communication and media that focuses or has an influence on the Asia Pacific region, with a broad range of topics, such as organization communication, marketing communication, mass communication, journalism, aesthetic communication. It offers immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that freely available research fosters a broader exchange of knowledge.

Submitted manuscripts must not have been published elsewhere or be currently under consideration for any other publication. CMAP utilizes a double-blind, peer-reviewed process in which at least two independent, anonymous referees appraise each manuscript.

There is no article processing charge (APC) for manuscript submitted to CMAP. All articles published in CMAP are freely and widely available to all readers via the journal website.
