The Political Roles of the Thai Sugarcane Planter Institution from 1984 to 2020

Abstract

              This paper aims to explore the formation of Thai sugarcane planter instution under the interaction between the political role of Thai sugarcane planter instution and Thai politics, 1984-2020.               Result show that: sugarcane has been an influential and important crop in the Thai economy from past to present. However, the problems and obstacles of Thailand's cane and sugar are not yet gone. And Thai sugarcane planter instution arose from the said law as well. It is a tool that helps sugarcane farmers to legally group together. And received rights that benefit sugarcane farmers themselves But the Thai sugarcane planter instution is seen as a form of political institution. In fact, this institution is not a complete political institution. It requires the sugarcane farmer leader who gets to the essence of the Act. And truly understand the political context of Thailand. Which has led to the creation and development of the cane and sugar industry to keep up with the modern era, far more than what is currently.
