Library Access Behaviors of Undergraduate Students at Academic Service Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the library access behaviors of undergraduate students at Academic Service Center, Suan Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University to compare the library access behaviors of undergraduate students at Academic Service Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University classified by personal factors. The sample group included 380 undergraduate students of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University who enrolled in the second semester of Academic Year 2017. The research tools were questionnaires, and data were analyzed by complete software. The statistics used were frequency distribution, percentage, mean and standard deviation. T-test was also used for independent variables with 2 groups, and one-way ANOVA was used for independent variables with more than 2 groups. The results revealed that: 1. The undergraduate students had the library access behaviors at Academic Service Center at a moderate level overall. 2. The students under certain affiliations had different library access behaviors in terms of book search and service hours with a statistical significance level of .05. The results of this research may allow Academic Service Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University to use the information found to improve the library services to meet the needs of students.
