Abstract

This article aims to: 1) study the causal factors affecting business innovation and business performance and 2) construct a model of the causal factors of business innovation affecting business performance. This research was qualitative and quantitative. The tools used for data collection were interview forms and online questionnaires. The statistics used in the data analysis were descriptive statistics and Structure Model statistics. The results showed that working principles with participation emphasis affect business innovation, working principles with participation emphasis affects business performance through business innovation, external network performance affects business innovation, external network performance affects business performance through business innovation, active power affects business innovation, dynamic ability affects business performance through business innovation, and business innovation affects business performance. Therefore, computer hardware business operators, digital software, and services can focus on employee involvement by developing potential, empowering, and providing appropriate incentives to lead to freedom of thought and innovation
