Development of Electric Vehicles Entrepreneurs Competitiveness

Abstract

This journal was aimed to: 1) Study competitiveness level of electric vehicles entrepreneurs, 2) Study factors affect the competitiveness of electric vehicle entrepreneurs, and 3) Present the development approaches of electric vehicle entrepreneurs. The research model was mixed method using the conceptual of competitiveness as the research framework and the researching areas were Bangkok, Rayong, Chonburi, and Chachoengsoa. The quantitative samples were: 1) the spare parts produces Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 who were SMEs, and the Proportional stratified random sampling were used with 320 sampling. The qualitative samplings were the electric vehicle entrepreneurs in the administrative level with more than 10 years experienced. The purposive sampling with 15 informants and the research tools were:1) questionnaires, 2) interviewing. The research analysis using basic statistic, percentages, averaging and deviation standards and Structural Equation Modeling: SEM in quantitative research, in qualitative research, the context analysis and descriptive explanation were used. The research finding found: 1) research finding as objective 1, the competitiveness of electric vehicle entrepreneurs as whole were in middle level. 2) research finding as objective 2 , the factors of electric vehicle promotion policy, electric entrepreneurs potential, organizational management, and an electric vehicle innovation affect an ability of electric vehicle entrepreneurs. 3) research finding as objective 3, an approach in competitiveness development of the electric vehicle entrepreneurs were in 4 ways as follows, 1) electric vehicle innovation development, 2) electric vehicle entrepreneur potential development, 3) electric vehicle promotion policy, 4) organizational management development. The body of knowledge found in this research will helpful for every sector in applying for the future development of electric vehicle entrepreneur competitiveness.
