Abstract

The purposes of this study were to: (1) examine the properties of sunn hemp paper, (2) design packaging using sunn hemp paper, and (3) investigate the satisfaction of the target group with the packaging made from sunn hemp paper The group of information providers is member of the Batik Rice Group Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, 3 people. The sample group is followers of the InnoYa Thailand page of the Batik rice group, 323 people. The tools used in the research were: 1) Evaluation form for the appropriateness of the packaging design.
2) Questionnaire on satisfaction of the target group with packaging made from hemp paper. The results of the research found that the formula of hemp mixed with rice straw (50:50) had a pressure resistance of 2.17 kg/cm and a tensile strength of 11.18 MPa, which was most suitable for use as a packaging structure. The formula of hemp plant mixed with hemp flowers and rice straw (50:40:10) has a medium color value. Can store line size details from 12 points or more, suitable for most graphic printing. Using the characteristics of farmers' rice wrappers to design the packaging structure. and used the cracking of rice water on the canvas (Cracked) to design graphics. The target group was most satisfied with the packaging structure in terms of size that was most appropriate for the group's fabric and shirt products (average = 4.25, S.D. = 0.16). They were most satisfied with the packaging graphics in terms of colors that were most consistent with the group's products (average = 4.66, S.D.= 0.61)
