Development of Academic Leadership Model for School Administrators in Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) To study the level of academic leadership for school administrator in Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, 2) To analyze the components of academic leadership for school administrator in Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and 3) To propose the delelpoment of academic leadership model for school administrator in Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The sample consisted of 501 administrators and teachers. The research instruments were questionnaire and semi-structured interview forms. Statistics used in data analysis include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, exploratory factor analysis and the content analysis by 27 educational administration experts. The research results found that the overall level of academic leadership of school administrators was at is at a high and highest levels.. From the exploratory factor analysis, and the content analysis from in-depth interviews revealed that the model of academic leadership of school administrators consists of 5 important factors: 1) academic vision, 2) Educational Technology Management 3) Data-Driven Decision Making 4) Cybersecurity Ethics and 5) Learning environment management.
