Abstract

This research was prepared  to identify the methods of teaching Arabic language in schools, and religious community in the three southern provinces of the Kingdom of Thailand: Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat, and to identify the problems of teaching the Arabic language and to study them in order to develop appropriate solutions.  It depends on the interviews, which  were distributed questionnaires to stakeholders, as well as collected and did the analysis. It also depends on the desk study, by referening to the books and articles that were available in the Kuwait Library, Yala Islamic University, additionally the research results are as followings; First: to teach the language, any languages, multiple modalities, and researchers with 35 methods, Second: to teach Arabic in schools, and religious community in the southern provinces with 3 methods. The most important method is lecture, the rules and the translation, Third: to teach the Arabic language and to study on the problems of the schools, owned by some teachers and other students and administrators, Fourth: to learn the ways to solve these problems, which are the need for school in the preparation of the curriculum appropation and aiding of  Arabian teachers with the language proficiency and teaching skills, Moreover, it was done to  encourage teachers to study the process of preparing teachers for being subjected in training courses, as well as to push them towards the development of educational activities to help study the Arabic language. The research recommends the need to follow the ways of solving these problems. It drafted the educational process of the Arabic language, the language of the Qur’an in this region.
