Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the problems, obstacles and problem-solving guidelines for community participative administration in education of Trang Expanding Opportunity Municipal Schools: A case study of Hoiyod Municipal School. The research’s frameworks are constructed into 3 categories: (1) Practices for community partnerships in education. (2) The involvement of the community in education. (3) The role of community participation in education management. The study used structured interviews, as researched by interviewing administrators, teachers and the community, and analyzed using content analysis.
The research findings were that 1) The Problem is the school has not built up faith in its surrounding community. The obstacle in gaining this faith is that willingness to cooperate has not been matched by the community. Finally, Problem-solving guidelines for community participative administration in Education of Trang Expanding Opportunity Municipal Schools: A case study of Hoiyod Municipal School is to understand the causes and find ways to effectively work together with the community
