English Program Management according to the Ministry of Education Curriculum Standard

This article aims to review literature and related research in order to propose the approaches for developing English Program management according to the Ministry of Education curriculum standard of schools under the Foundation of the Church of Christ in Thailand. From the literature reviews, the management approaches were found as follows: 1) Policy, Strategy and Management 2) Curriculum, instruction, and assessment 3) Student quality. Therefore, these approaches can be applied as a tool for planning, self-reflection, and growth in the English Program management of schools under the Foundation of the Church of Christ in Thailand. It is expected that, when the English programs in these schools are efficiently managed, the needs of students, parents and other stakeholders will be fully met. When the program can provide English language literacy, content instruction, as well as the multicultural competence, these students will be able to effectively use English as a global means of international communication in the future.
