FACTORS INFLUENCING INDIVIDUAL CREATIVITY: A STUDY OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS, SILPAKORN UNIVERSITY, PHETCHBURI IT CAMPUS

The purposes of this research were to: (1) study the relationship of
the creative self-efficacy, perceived university support for creativity, Emotional Quotient (EQ), Spiritual Quotient (SQ) and individual creativity, and (2) study the factors influencing the creative self-efficacy and individual creativity of the undergraduate students, Silpakorn University, Phetchaburi IT Campus. This research employed a quantitative research and was considered as the survey method in which it was examined for its quality through the validity and reliability as an instrument for data collection. The population was the undergraduate students studying at Silpakorn University, Phetchaburi IT Campus, in 2013 academic year. The sample size included 525 individuals to whom were selected by using the multi-stages stratified sampling technique. The research results revealed that: (1) The individual creativity of the undergraduate students, Silpakorn University, Phetchaburi IT Campus had the relationship with creative self-efficacy, perceived university support for creativity, Emotional Quotient (EQ), and Spiritual Quotient (SQ), respectively. (2) The factors influencing the creative self-efficacy included Spiritual Quotient (SQ) and Emotional Quotient (EQ).And the factors influencing the individual creativity included the creative self-efficacy, the overall value of Spiritual Quotient (SQ), and the overall value of Emotional Quotient (EQ).
