PUBLIC OPINIONS TOWARDS PERFORMANCE OF SERVICE PROVIDED BY MUANG CHACHOENGSAO POLICE STATION, AMPHOE MUANG CHACHOENGSAO, CHACHOENGSAO PROVINCE

Abstract

          This study aimed at examining the level of public opinions towards performance of services provided by Muang Chachoengsao Police Station in Amphoe Muang Chachoengsao, Chachoengsao Province. It also attempted to compare the level of public opinions towards the performance of services classified by gender, age, marital status, educational level, occupation, and amount of income.
           The subjects participating in this study were 246 people who used services offered by Muang Chachoengsao Police Station. The test statistics used to analyze the data included frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results of the study revealed that people showed their strong agreement in the five issues of service operation. The highly commented aspect of service was nice, polite, and well-mannered personnel staff.The commented aspect of surroundings around the office was secure feelings in the government office.
The viewed aspect of surroundings inside the office was the tidy looking and convenient office. The viewed aspect of information service was right information of excise service. The commented aspect of information technology was appropriate number of service providers during the office hours.

          Based on the results of comparison, there were no statistically significant differences in the level of opinions towards the performance of services provided by Muang Chachoengsao Police Station among the subjects with different gender, age, and occupation. Finally, statistically significant differences were found in the level of satisfaction towards the performance of service provided by Muang Chachoengsao Police Station among the subjects with different marital status, educational level, and amount of income at a significant level of 0.05.
