The Lesson Learnt from Success Factors of Trat Provincial Health Rehbillitation Fund Leading to The Reception of Award Towards Trasparency and Promotion of People’s participation by Trat Provincial Administration Organization

Abstract

           This research article aimed to draw up a lesson learnt from critical success factors of Trat provincial health rehabilitation fund that led to the award reception upon transparency and promotion of people’s participation by Trat Provincial Administration organization. The study included twelve representatives from five representatives of the Rehabilitation fund Committee, four representatives from the fund Subcommittee, and three representatives from the people's sector. The research tool comprised two in-depth interviews, one for the fund committee and, the other, for people sector. Content analysis was used to analyze the data.

The study revealed that the critical success factors of Trat provincial health rehabilitation fund that led to the reception of award towards transparency and promotion of people’s participation of Trat Provincial Administration Organization included organizational success which was made up of 1) a vision of Trat Provincial Administration Organization—development of people’s quality of life; “shared goals,” 2) the chief executive of Trat Provincial Administration Organization—possessing transformational leadership, 3) cooperation in driving the goals of all personnel in Trat Provincial Administration Organization; “Unity,” 4) agile management, and 5) acceptance of external hearings. The project success was made up of 1) people’s participation in operating the project, 2) close collaboration among public sector, local administration organization, and people sector, 3) genuine implementation of vision, policy, and strategy, and 4) follow-up and evaluation of the project.
