Factors Affecting The Creation Of Awareness Of Non-offences Under The Excise Act 2017: A Case Study Of The Excise Office in Chiang Mai Area

The objectives of this research were to study: 1) the level of raising awareness and behaviour of individuals towards non-offense; 2) to compare individual behavior with non-offense classified by personal factors; and 3) factors affecting a person's behaviour towards non-committing an offense according to the Excise Act B.E. 2560 of the Excise Office of Chiang Mai Area. The research quantitative methods instrument is a questionnaire. Collected data with samples of 384 people in Chiang Mai province according to the concept of Cochran et al. (1953) using the probability sampling method and simple random sampling. Statistics used in research include frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, and multiple regression analysis by enter.
The results of the research showed that: 1) factors of raising awareness and factors of non-offending behaviour were at a high level. Which an average of 3.81 and 4.09 and standard deviations of .743 and .524; 2) Personal factors by age, status, educational, and occupation had an affect on the non-offence behaviour under the Excise Act B.E. 2560 (2017) in the Excise Office in Chiang Mai area statistically significant at the level of .05. and 3) Raising awareness factors affect non-offences under the Excise Act B.E. 2560 (2017) in Chiang Mai Excise Office with statistical significance at .05 with a forecast value of .442 or 44.20 percent.
